MARCH is National Asset Management Awareness Month at Northern PAT-Guard

March is National Asset Management Awareness Month, Throughout the month of March, businesses and organisations are urged to learn how improved asset and property management practices can contribute to the overall mission and revenue goals of their organisation.

For the whole 31 days Northern PAT-Guard will be testing and passing many assets for local businesses to assure compliance with Health & Safety recommendation. There is no ‘must’ for PAT testing and it is NOT a legal requirement. The requirement is as follows;

The UK Health and Safety Executive along with insurance companies will expect you to perform PAT testing to ensure that you are compliant with certain regulations including:

· Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974

· The Electricity at Work Regulations of 1989

· The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations of 1998

· The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations of 1999
